Position Overview
We're seeking a high-agency Business Development Manager to work directly with our founder in building and managing our global sales pipeline. You'll be responsible for identifying prospects, executing outreach campaigns, and managing the end-to-end lead funnel for our space-grade ADCS components.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with founder to define and refine Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) for LEO satellite manufacturers
- Develop and execute comprehensive outreach strategies based on agreed ICP targeting satellite manufacturers and space companies
- Build and manage end-to-end sales pipeline from prospecting through deal closure
- Conduct market research to identify prospects matching ICP and emerging opportunities in LEO satellite market
- Travel globally to meet prospects, attend industry conferences, and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Implement and manage CRM system to track leads, manage pipeline, and generate performance reports
- Qualify leads and conduct initial discovery calls to understand customer ADCS requirements
Must-Have Requirements
- 3-5 years of B2B sales or business development experience in hardware/manufacturing industry
- Proven track record of managing full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
- Experience with global sales and international client management
- Hands-on experience implementing and using CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills for market research and ICP development
- Willingness to travel internationally (30-40% travel expected)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in aerospace, defense, or spacetech industries with focus on LEO satellites
- Startup or early-stage company experience with founder-level ownership mindset
- Knowledge of satellite technology or space industry ecosystem
- Experience selling to technical buyers and engineering teams
- Experience setting up sales processes and tools from scratch
