Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the architecture, implementation, and optimization of our DevOps processes. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership abilities, a deep understanding of AWS and Terraform, expertise in deployment strategies, and a proactive approach to cloud security and compliance (including HIPAA and SOC2). You will mentor a team of DevOps engineers and collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of DevOps processes and best practices.
• Architect, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
• Develop, automate, and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Drive security and compliance best practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle, ensuring alignment with HIPAA, SOC2, and industry regulations.
• Mentor and guide DevOps team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Demonstrate strong working ethics and promote a workplace of integrity and responsibility.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support software development, troubleshooting, and incident response.
• Communicate complex technical issues and solutions effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Must have Criterias

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration.
• Deep expertise with AWS and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2), and working ethics.
• Strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure security best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and team mentoring experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD tools, and monitoring solutions.
