Position Overview
You own the end-to-end payments ecosystem for a high-growth DentalTech SaaS platform. You shape strategy, roadmap, and delivery of compliant card processing, ACH, surcharging, and patient financing used by dental practices across the US. You work closely with cross-continental teams and senior leadership, giving you visibility and influence over product direction and go-to-market.
Role & Responsibilities
- You own the payments roadmap covering card processing, ACH, surcharging, refunds, recurring billing, and financing solutions for dental practices.
- You gather insights from dental practice stakeholders on patient payments, insurance co-pays, and treatment plan financing.
- You collaborate with engineering in India and support, compliance, and finance teams in the US to deliver scalable, user-friendly, compliant payment solutions.
- You write Product Requirement Documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with US dental workflows.
- You ensure alignment with US regulations such as PCI DSS, state surcharge laws, and HIPAA for patient data.
- You partner with leadership to define go-to-market strategies and drive adoption within dental practices.
- You track KPIs including payment success rates, settlement time, revenue uplift, and patient adoption.
Must have Criteria
- 8–10 years’ total experience with 5+ years in Product Management for Payments, FinTech, or Dental/Healthcare technology.
- Deep knowledge of payment gateways and processors such as Stripe, Adyen, and Authorize.net.
- Understanding of dental practice payment workflows including insurance, co-pays, financing, and refunds.
- Familiarity with US compliance requirements: PCI DSS, HIPAA, and state surcharge laws.
- Proven track record delivering B2B SaaS products for the US healthcare/dental market.
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams across geographies and time zones.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with design and wireframing tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, or Miro.
- Ability to analyze data using HubSpot and SQL (preferred).
- Comfort using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar.
- Familiarity with dental PMS systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience with patient financing platforms or integration with healthcare lenders.
- Knowledge of merchant onboarding and payout systems for multi-practice groups (DSOs).
- Experience working in high-growth SaaS serving dental or healthcare providers.
