Position Overview

You'll lead the 0-1 establishment of data center operations across Singapore, building physical infrastructure presence from the ground up. You'll drive strategic initiatives that directly support the company's AI-native private cloud platform expansion. You'll have full autonomy to shape business development strategy and build partnerships from ground zero in a high-growth AI startup environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end 0-1 data center establishment from site selection to operational launch in Singapore
• Develop and execute comprehensive market entry strategies for greenfield data center projects in target regions
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including data center operators, government agencies, and enterprise clients
• Lead negotiations for data center space, colocation agreements, and infrastructure partnerships for new facility setups
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data center requirements align with the AI-native platform needs from inception
• Navigate regulatory requirements, permits, and compliance frameworks for new data center establishment
• Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and enterprise client acquisition during facility development phases

Must Have Criteria

• 8+ years of business development experience in data center, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise technology sectors
• Proven experience in 0-1 data center setup, greenfield projects, or infrastructure establishment from ground up
• Bachelor's degree from Tier 1 colleges (IITs, IIMs, NIT, or equivalent international institutions) or experience at Tier 1 consulting companies (BCG, McKinsey)
• Experience living or working in Southeast Asia with deep understanding of regional business culture
• Understanding of GPU orchestration, Kubernetes, and AI/ML infrastructure requirements
• Strong network and relationships within Singapore's technology and infrastructure ecosystem
• Experience in complex B2B negotiations and partnership structuring with enterprise clients

Nice to Have

• MBA from top-tier business schools with focus on international business or technology
• Previous experience with startup or high-growth technology companies in Southeast Asia
• Deep knowledge of GPU cloud platforms, container orchestration, and AI infrastructure solutions
• Experience with data center construction, facility management, or infrastructure project management
• Existing relationships with major data center operators and GPU cloud providers in Singapore and region
