An AI-powered workforce housing platform helping global enterprises streamline temporary accommodations for employees. The company transforms how businesses handle relocations and project-based housing with intelligent procurement technology.

This rapidly growing seed-stage startup has 14 team members and recently achieved product-market fit. The company operates in the $50B+ corporate housing market with strong revenue traction.

Position Overview

You'll lead day-to-day engineering operations and team development as the on-ground leader in Bangalore. You'll build culture, drive execution, and develop engineers while partnering with US-based product leadership. This role reports directly to the CTO and offers clear growth paths as the company scales rapidly.

Role & Responsibilities

• Drive sprint execution and delivery commitments while partnering with CPO on roadmap decisions
• Own team metrics tracking and improvement including velocity, quality, and deployment frequency
• Create accountability, urgency, and ownership culture through daily standups and team ceremonies
• Manage 5-10 engineers directly with regular 1-on-1s, performance feedback, and career development
• Lead team hiring process including interviews, offer decisions, and new engineer onboarding
• Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, and hands-on technical contribution when needed
• Shield team from distractions, remove blockers, and communicate progress to stakeholders

Must Have Criteria

• 7-10 years of software engineering experience with 2+ years managing engineering teams of 5-10 people
• Strong technical background in React, Node.js, Python, and AWS cloud services
• Experience building and scaling systems that process millions of transactions per month
• Proven track record of shipping products on time with quality in startup environments
• Startup experience from seed to Series B+ stage with rapid growth and changing priorities
• Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate with commitment to 3-4 days/week office presence
• Excellent communication skills for working across timezones with US-based leadership

Nice to Have

• Enterprise SaaS background with understanding of security, compliance, and multi-tenancy
• Experience managing distributed teams with US product leadership and India engineering
• Track record of developing engineers who have grown and succeeded in their careers
• AI/ML frameworks experience (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar) for AI-powered platform development
