Position Overview

You'll join the company's R&D wing and work directly with founder-engineers on experimental products that could reshape India's digital identity and transaction landscape. You'll own features end-to-end while building prototypes that transform into customer-facing MVPs serving millions of users. This role offers rare exposure to strategic product decisions and technical architecture discussions with founders who are engineers themselves.

Role & Responsibilities

• Build prototypes and ship production features across backend, ML infrastructure, and integrations
• Design robust systems focusing on scale, reliability, and security while iterating quickly
• Transform research ideas and concepts into customer-facing MVPs
• Own features end-to-end from conception to deployment and maintenance
• Work closely with founders on strategic product decisions and technical architecture
• Mentor team members and contribute to building a high-impact engineering culture
• Collaborate on R&D projects requiring full-stack development capabilities

Must Have Criteria

• 1-4 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
• Proficiency in Java and Python with solid debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience with React and Angular for frontend development
• Experience building systems handling 1000+ transactions per second and processing 20-30 GB daily data volumes
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, message queues, databases, and containerization
• Exposure to machine learning, LLMs, embeddings, or MLOps workflows
• Experience with AWS cloud services and Docker/Kubernetes

Nice to Have

• Interest or experience in fintech, security, or privacy domains
• Previous experience in startup or high-growth environments
• Experience building customer-facing products from scratch
• Background in regulatory compliance or identity verification systems
