Position Overview

You safeguard the quality of a mission-critical healthcare SaaS platform used by thousands of clinics. You plan and execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests, working closely with product and engineering to catch issues early and release with confidence. As the client scales, you shape automation, CI/CD quality gates, and modern QA practices that raise the quality bar for the entire team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Apply Agile/Scrum practices to every sprint’s QA activities.
• Attend sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Create test plans and exploratory charters for each release.
• Validate functionality across browsers, iOS, Android, and staging environments.
• Collaborate with product owners and developers to maximise test coverage.
• Ensure QA sign-off before each production deploy.
• Design reusable test cases linked to user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Manage test cycles and results in JIRA or similar tooling.
• Own the defect lifecycle from logging to verified fix.
• Assign accurate severity and priority to drive team focus.
• Continuously improve QA workflows, documentation, and quality benchmarks.
• Contribute automated tests and CI/CD quality gates.

Must have Criteria

• 1–2 years in software QA within Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience testing SaaS platforms; healthcare or VoIP preferred.
• Hands-on API testing and debugging.
• Skill in log monitoring and error handling.
• Ability to write SQL queries for data validation.
• Mobile and web testing across functional, regression, and integration layers.
• Exposure to bot testing.
• Translate user stories into logical test workflows.
• Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams.
• Knowledge of TDD and BDD concepts.
• Growth mindset and self-driven learning.
• Willingness to push back when release quality is at risk.

Nice to Have

• Playwright and TypeScript automation experience.
• Jenkins or GitLab CI pipeline familiarity.
• Git version control proficiency.
• JIRA or equivalent test management expertise.
• Connecting automated tests to CI/CD pipelines.
