Position Overview

You'll play a critical role ensuring accurate revenue recognition and payment reconciliations across a platform that processes millions of transactions monthly. You'll support high-volume crypto payment operations while working directly with cross-functional teams including Revenue Operations, Finance Ops, and Payments. This role offers direct exposure to cutting-edge Web3 payment technologies in a fast-paced startup environment driving mainstream crypto adoption.

Role & Responsibilities

• You perform order-to-cash payment reconciliations, matching transaction data with acquirer statements and bank statements
• You investigate and resolve reconciliation variances in collaboration with Revenue Operations, Finance Ops, and Payments teams
• You support reconciliation of partner-related payments and expenses, ensuring completeness and accuracy of recorded amounts
• You prepare and issue customer invoices in accordance with contractual terms using Sage Intacct
• You prepare journal entry schedules and supporting workbooks for revenue-related postings under established templates
• You assist with recurring month-end close activities, including roll-forwards, schedules, and variance analysis
• You perform data extraction, cleansing, formatting, and validation using Excel/Google Sheets for revenue analysis

Must Have Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-5 years of experience in revenue accounting or order-to-cash processes
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulas
• Experience with high-volume transaction reconciliations and payment processing
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Sage Intacct
• Proven ability to meet recurring month-end close deadlines in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech, payments, or cryptocurrency industry
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau
• Experience with marketplace or multi-partner revenue models
• Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA
