Position Overview
You provide specialized US tax advisory and compliance services that directly support the company's fintech operations and client requirements. You handle complex US tax matters while contributing to a platform that transforms how modern accounting firms operate. You work closely with founding team members to shape both product development and company culture in this high-growth environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- You provide US tax consulting and advisory services to clients and internal stakeholders
- You prepare and review US federal, state, and local tax returns and compliance filings
- You analyze complex US tax issues and provide strategic tax planning recommendations
- You ensure compliance with US GAAP, IRS regulations, and tax reporting standards
- You support cross-border transactions and international tax planning initiatives
- You coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities
- You research US tax law changes and assess impact on business operations
- You provide tax technical expertise for business transactions and restructuring
- You assist with tax provision calculations and financial statement reporting
Must Have Criteria
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with active US CPA certification (mandatory)
- 2-5 years of specialized US tax consulting and compliance experience
- Deep knowledge of US federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Experience with corporate tax planning and complex tax transactions
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax accounting principles
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and research tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or technology companies with US operations
- Background in international tax planning and transfer pricing
- Knowledge of tax technology platforms and automation tools
- Previous experience in Big 4 accounting firms or tax consulting roles
