Position Overview
You set the people strategy that powers a venture-backed AI infrastructure startup through rapid scale. You design HR frameworks, manage the full employee lifecycle, and embed culture as the team grows from 20 to 100+ employees. You partner directly with the founders and leadership, owning high-impact initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- You partner directly with founders and the leadership team on people strategy and organizational development.
- You design and implement HR policies, processes, and frameworks for rapid startup growth.
- You manage the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to performance management and retention strategies.
- You drive culture initiatives and employee engagement programs in a fast-paced startup environment.
- You handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance matters for a growing tech team.
- You establish compensation benchmarking and equity management processes to support scaling.
- You lead organizational design initiatives and workforce planning for rapid team expansion.
Must have Criteria
- 3–5 years as an HRBP, including 2+ years in pre-seed or Series A tech startups.
- Proven experience partnering with founders on people strategy and operations.
- Track record of scaling HR operations from 20–50 to 100+ employees.
- Hands-on expertise in performance management, employee relations, and organizational development within startups.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to leadership.
- Based in Bangalore and available for full-time onsite work at the Bellandur office.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with startup equity management and ESOP administration.
- Knowledge of employment law and compliance within the Indian startup ecosystem.
