Position Overview

You drive the vision and execution of a core AI platform that powers real-world applications at scale. You shape the intelligence layer, making critical decisions on model usage, orchestration, and optimization. You work at the intersection of engineering and AI research, ensuring the platform delivers high value, reliability, and efficiency.

Role & Responsibilities

• Own the core AI platform and intelligence layer.
• Focus on model usage, orchestration, cost-quality tradeoffs, and optimization.
• Define and own the AI platform roadmap.
• Decide when to use which LLM/model (e.g., GPT vs alternatives).
• Determine how to route users based on value, cost, and quality.
• Design and optimize agent flows, AI pipelines, and inference/orchestration layers.
• Continuously evaluate trade-offs between cost, latency, quality, and user value.
• Work extremely closely with engineering and AI research teams.

Must Have Criteria

• Strong AI and technical orientation.
• Ability to think in terms of systems, optimization problems, and trade-off analysis.
• Comfort with LLMs, AI infrastructure concepts, and model evaluation/selection.
• Ability to abstract complexity and make product-driven decisions.
• Experience as a PM on AI platforms, developer platforms, or infrastructure-heavy products.
• Prior experience with AI-first or data-heavy products.
• Background as a platform PM or technical PM.
• Focus on system correctness and efficiency over UI/UX polish.
• High agency and ownership—bias for action and end-to-end delivery.
• Deep thinking ability—first-principles, structured reasoning, strong mental models.
• Curiosity and learning mindset—enjoy learning new domains, especially evolving AI capabilities.
• Technical and analytical capability—data-driven decision-making, comfort with technical discussions.
• Insight into Indian mass-market user behaviors and motivations.
• Strong PM fundamentals—execution, communication, stakeholder alignment, and product sense.
