Position Overview

You'll design and build robust authentication infrastructure that powers secure access for enterprise cloud environments. You'll architect scalable auth systems that integrate seamlessly with zero-trust security models across hybrid, edge, and sovereign cloud deployments. This role offers high ownership in building cutting-edge authentication infrastructure from the ground up at a well-funded deeptech startup.

Role & Responsibilities

• You design and implement scalable authentication and authorization systems using Go
• You build secure identity management solutions supporting multi-tenant enterprise environments
• You develop OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OpenID Connect integrations with enterprise identity providers
• You architect zero-trust authentication mechanisms for hybrid and edge cloud deployments
• You implement role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC) systems
• You design secure token management and session handling for distributed cloud workloads
• You collaborate with security and platform teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security standards

Must Have Criteria

• 3-6 years of experience designing authentication and authorization systems
• Experience building authentication systems handling 1M+ daily users at scale
• Background in cloud infrastructure companies or platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or cloud-native startups)
• Strong proficiency in Go programming language for backend development
• Hands-on experience with identity protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect, JWT)
• Experience building RBAC/ABAC systems for enterprise applications
• Experience with identity providers integration (Active Directory, LDAP, Okta, Auth0)

Nice to Have

• Experience with zero-trust security architectures and implementations
• Knowledge of cloud-native identity solutions (AWS IAM, Azure AD, GCP Identity)
• Experience with certificate management and PKI infrastructure
• Background in enterprise security compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP)
• Previous experience at security-focused or infrastructure startups
